Throughout July 2026, our students celebrated Nutrition Month through hands-on activities that made healthy living fun and meaningful. The children planted mung bean seeds and watered them every morning, patiently watching them grow and learning that, just like plants, our bodies need proper nourishment and care. They also explored Go, Grow, and Glow foods through creative activities, making colorful crafts inspired by salads, pizzas, fruits, and other nutritious foods. To make learning even more delicious, the children prepared their own fruit salad, discovering different fruits while enjoying the experience of making healthy food together.
The celebration became even more memorable as students prepared their own creative costumes at home with their families for the Nutrition Month Community Walk on July 30. Wearing their handmade costumes, the children proudly walked together while celebrating the importance of healthy choices with the community. More than learning about food, Nutrition Month helped our young learners understand valuable lessons about healthy habits, patience, responsibility, creativity, and making good choices for their growing bodies.
